SVENSSON: white horses , blue flame 1997 BF 398 408 62
"White Horses" is the name of SVENSSON's new production released on the Blue Flame label. As already heard on the production "Forgotten Island" (from 1994), it clearly shows which musical direction SVENSSON decided for.
SVENSSON understands to combine modern grooves with melody vaults and sound surfaces as no other, also by using elements of Trance and Trip-Hop as the rhythmical strength on "White Horses".
The instrument leading through the production is, as before, the classical instrument, the Oboe, because SVENSSON is acutally a classical Oboe player. He masterly integrates the sounds of this instrument with electronic and ethnical elements without having any breaks. All this being the concept of "White Horses".
As guest musicians, he invited the violinist, THOMAS KAGEMANN and the classical cellist, KRISTOFF BECKER. Especially Kagemann uses his violin as a groove instrument in this production (Track 8 RAINDANZ) and is able to create a pleasant instrumental change with this production.
All titles are composed, arranged, produced and recorded by SVENSSON. As an experienced Film and TV music producer, SVENSSON pulls all artistic cords to create an exeptionally detailed and modern instrumental project-"White Horses".
